The Washington State Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Social Workers Advisory Committee is currently accepting application for the following:

·         One public member

·         One Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW)

·         One Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

In order to qualify you must meet the following:

·         Live in Washington. 

·         Cannot hold an office in a professional association for Mental Health, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

·         Cannot be employees of Washington State.  

·         Each professional member must have been actively engaged as a mental health counselor, marriage and family therapist, or social worker for five years immediately preceding appointment.

·         Public members represent the public and cannot be affiliated with the professions listed in RCW 18.225.

The committee meets four times each year.  Members are paid $50 a day, and travel expenses.
