The Washington State Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Social Workers Advisory Committee is currently accepting application for the following:

    1.) Three public members
    2.) Licensed Advanced Social Worker

In order to qualify you must meet the following:

    A.) Live in Washington. 
    B.) Cannot hold an office in a professional association for Mental Health, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
    C.) Cannot be employees of Washington State.  
    D.) Each professional member must have been actively engaged as a mental health counselor, marriage and family therapist, or social worker for five years immediately preceding appointment.
    E.) Public members represent the public and cannot be affiliated with the professions listed in RCW 18.225.

The committee meets four times each year. Members are paid $50 a day, and travel expenses.
